I’m addicted to Sketchbook Skool! This week’s tutorial is all about drawing everyday objects with whatever pen is handy courtesy of tutor Andrea Joseph. I will post a few of my ballpoint pen creations – my pens are so bad though my drawings are dotted with ink blots!
I’ve slipped in opportunities to draw, and realised that we can tell stories with a few images/highlights from our day. Here are mine:
Spider in my coffee
While writing in my journal, out on the deck, I look away from my cuppa only to pick it up to find – argh! – a huge spider about to take a dip. Lesson to me: don’t pick up cup mindlessly and drink it!
This week has been good for walks and workouts. I’ve made it a point to get out of bed and into my gym togs. That way, right after my morning meditation and prayer, I can shoot off to the gym! Shodding feet with readiness has its perks. As a result, I did three gym days this week! Met my quota, finally, after a looong time.
Kick off those socks
It’s Spring but yesterday’s rain and colder temps forced me to wear boots to work. After finishing my art teaching and picking the hubby up from the bus station, I happily removed my zebra-print socks. Love how this looks balled up from a long, productive day on my feet!
I have simple needs – soft hands, minimal eyebags and a clear head (hence the Sanitary Balm for my temples). Sweet dreams are made of these (well some of them at least!).
How was your day? Draw it!
