Over a flat white coffee at my nearby café, I read through a new book I had borrowed from my friendly neighborhood Mobile Library (it’s a bus filled with books that comes around once a week!), my mind began to spark so many ideas. There I was, reading through A Circle of Quilters (yes it reflects my fascination for all things sewn), and my brain was popping up with ideas for about four others. I remembered a collection of stories I had written from my mother’s childhood, another two chick lit manuscripts finished during NaNoWriMos of years past, and a self-help book. Ahh, where do I begin? I feel that before I can actually start something new, I must finish business that has been started. Already a fifth book is taking flight in my heart and mind, and I am wondering if I should pursue it…or if I should go back and tidy up my stuff before I launch out anew.
And then, I saw this blog post: February is Pitchapalooza on The Office of Letters and Light. Oh, where do I begin?
