I’ve been experimenting with an app called Frameographer by Studio Neat. I absolutely love it. I used it to shoot an Easter project with my Sunday school kids (more about that in another post) but also discovered its potential for bringing more life to my crafts and illustrations.
So here’s my maiden feature from #EspressoYourselfbyMC2 – “The Good Book” communicates my love for the Bible. I was once such a self-help book freak, consuming every pop psychology and new age title out there. Disillusioned by all the relative “truths” and confusion brought on by those books, I returned to reading the Bible about five years ago. My niece Faith was so enthusiastic about it, I thought I’d give it a crack. I got hooked on what I read, and whom I met through the wisdom of the pages that I chucked out my old books.
This short film sums up the hope I’ve rediscovered in the Good Book. It’s the love story between God and man through Jesus Christ, one that is still relevant for all of us seeking to find peace that goes beyond what the world can offer. May this short short film (by this humble short filmmaker) inspire you to dust off the Bible on your shelf and dive into the adventures that await you in the Good Book. Happy Easter!
