Every time I take our dog for a walk, I always find something worthy of drawing.
Today’s Friday Find is a Golden Amber maple leaf. Isn’t it pretty? I find weathered leaves – red, dappled, even brown in parts – much more interesting to paint than perfectly green, blemish-free specimens.
I used watercolour paints, and then drew some veins with yellow and ochre watercolour pencils. Then I used a 3B pencil to create the shadow.
