My name is Maya Calica. I am first of all a storyteller, using words, photographs, illustrations, and most recently sewed creations, to weave tales. I am also a freelance magazine editor, a published author of two novels, and a coffee lover. Thank you for dropping by my little café of creativity, where all my projects come together. I remember your book Break-up Diaries was the reason I went ahead and read other chic lit as well. With the main character as my namesake, I imagined myself experiencing the same things she experienced (even the hurtful moments post-breakup). I’m an NBSB, so only through books and movies I get to experience “kilig” moments. I know I may sound pathetic, but the first step to own your destiny is to accept the status quo and trudge forward. Hehe. Ignore my ramblings. Just so happy to chance upon your site. I’ll definitely be back here. Congratulations with this!
